We can date these by the label, which is an embroidered label in light blue, which Vanity Fair used from the late 40’s through the 50’s. In the late 60’s they switched to block letters and in the 70’s they went to script printed tags. The fact they also have a pillow tab in the waistband is also a testament to their age.

These Panties are in excellent like new condition. They are see through sheer (very risqué for the 50’s / 60's) with a Lace panel overlay on the front. The camera shows blotches but there are none on the material. What you are seeing is the mannequin through the panties and where the “flesh” of the mannequin does not contact the panty it looks darker and where the panty has folds because it does not fit our anorexic mannequin, well there appear to be blotches. This is an illusion of the camera. The panties are in MINT condition.
