Farm Girl Doll refuses to look 13”1986 bisque porcelain
|
This
wonderful doll is a depiction of a girl who is a bit modest and refuses to
look at the swimming hole where someone has taken off his clothes to go
swimming. The
Doll comes with a ‘No swimming’ sign a log table and a pair of boys
pants and shirt that make it appear someone has gone skinny dipping in the
old swimming hole. The
doll stands 13 inches 33cm tall and is finely dressed as one would expect
of a farm girl of the turn of the century. She
wears a green polka dot bonnet , a tie in back pinafore apron over a polka
dot burnt orange dress with slip and pettipants with leggings. Her shoes
are of faux leather of the time with lace tied strings. Her dress snaps at
the cuffs and in back. Hr pose is with her hand shielding her face and her
eyes closed. A bit of a terse scowl upon her lips. She
has long Brunette hair held with hair pins. This
doll has never been played with and is in near mint condition allowing for
some minor discoloration due to age. The back of the doll has stamped: 1986 The
Curtis Publishing co. Her head, breastplate, arms, and legs are made of fine bisque porcelain. Her body is stuffed. # s0016 $25.00 + S&H I am sorry to inform you that this item has been SOLD. We invite you to return to the HOMEPAGE to make another selection of an "Available" item. Thank you. Tami |
