Pre 60's Vintage Clothing and Lingerie

Those women's Intimates we can be fairly sure are pre 60's will not only be listed in the appropriate category but here as well ( If we are doing our job, we may forget a piece here and there). In our attempt to keep stocked our Intimates section we often come across other clothing that we feel has a market. Here you will find clothing that is either Vintage or Antique it may well be Designer clothing as well. We only keep that which is in very good to excellent condition. Unless the piece is of significant importance.

      Just a word on Vintage before you dig in to the pics below. Be sure to check the measurements as they have changed significantly over the years and one cannot rely on the tagged size compared to today's sizing. Vintage cloths were more contoured to the body shape, this later was discarded by the Mfg's as they wanted to mass produce for an ever growing market so they started making clothes that would fit more than one size and changed their sizing labels accordingly.
     Personally I consider Vintage 70's and older but for the die hard Vintage collector who demands 50's or older as being Vintage we only list here those items but if you are looking for 60's and 70's intimates then they will be found on the respective pages. Be sure to check out the Other Clothing pages as much that is 60's and 70's will be listed there. Accessories will be listed in their categories even if they are 50's or older. This page is clothing only.
     Buying 60's and 70's now is a good investment because for the die hard "50 years old and it is Vintage" buyer, well it won't be long till these garments will command higher prices, as 1956 and older would now fall into that category. Retro is in.

If you are a vintage collector you will find our prices to your liking as I've seen similar items sell for much more on eBay. We do not use eBay to sell these type items very often as we can never be sure just who is online within that 7 day window and may not receive the value we know these garments can bring even so our prices can be as much as 50 to 75% less than that which another site may have a similar item listed at. And though you may get a 'deal' on ebay we have checked completed auctions and most that we list here is considerably less than some similar items sold for.

Be sure to check back as we still have hundreds of items yet to list and are looking for more all the time. We hope to have one of the largest selections of gently used, vintage and new intimates and clothing to choose from on the net. It will take us a long time to list just what we have and we get more as often as we can. I wish hubby hadn't deleted much of what we sold as I would have loved giving you the opportunity to see some of the wonderful items we had listed.

 I'm sorry if the pages haven't changed in a while but there are so many demands on my time that It is difficult to keep up. I recently moved all my inventory to my Moms as she has a huge building. In doing so I noted I have literally hundreds of items I need to list. Time is an issue though and I hope to be able to devote some to do this after the holidays.

 Though this site is commercial in that we hope to sell our offered products we have posted pages that are informational in nature that we hope will help guide you in either your selections or in providing you with knowledge to help you in dating vintage clothing. Time is an issue as Hubby and I have 3 sites we try to keep updated as well as a family to tend to. Myself, Hubby and two lovely kids. But I will get to it as soon as I can.

 I get a few letters from people interested in specific items or wanting information on dating an item. I hope I've provided enough information to help guide you to resources that can be helpful. I know it can be a hassle researching through the USPTO and others, but with a bit of digging you can generally find what you need. There are sites out there which will give you more information and some that are just information sites. Some charge for their services some do not. A lot can be learned with just a bit of effort. When doing your research try to dig deep. Read my dating vintage page and you will see how one person found a date and assumed it was the date Antron III came into use. Further research on my part proved otherwise. Always dig deep and seldom think you have the answer 100% nailed as there will always be an exception to a rule.

Though We are heavily endowed with Lingerie we have a wide selection of most everything clothing from Children's Clothing to Designer Clothing from Other Fashionable Clothing to Accessories, and a section devoted to Embroidered Clothing, Embroidered Cards and Custom Orders. Most of the clothing has been preowned, hence vintage in the title but we do have some new / old stock with tags. Also an informative page on how to Date Vintage Clothing along with other tidbits of information.

We realize this makes it difficult to categorize us but I would hope that within the pages of this site you find something that catches your eye.
